2026 Daniels Spectrum Community Access Program - Summer RouND

We're thrilled to announce that applications are now open for the summer round of our Community Access Program, an initiative designed to make professional performance and event space more accessible to artists, cultural producers, and community builders. Through this program, individuals and organizations can access Ada Slaight Hall, our performance and event venue in the heart of Regent Park at a significantly reduced cost. 

What the Program Offers 

Successful applicants will receive: 

• 80 percent off the standard rental rate for Ada Slaight Hall, including venue rental and in house equipment use 
   
• Supplemental marketing and promotional support to help build audience reach and visibility 

Eligible event dates run from August to December, 2026. 

Who Should Apply 

The program is open to: 

• Artists and Artist Collectives 
• Arts and Cultural Organizations 
• Community groups 
• Non-Profit Organizations or Individuals working on cultural or community driven projects 

We encourage applications from equity seeking individuals and groups, and from projects that create meaningful opportunities for participation and partnership with Regent Park based organizations and residents. 

The program supports a wide range of artistic and cultural disciplines, including music, dance, visual arts, heritage, multimedia, interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary work. 

IMPORTANT DATES 

Application deadline: July 23, 2026 

Results to applicants: July 31, 2026 

Eligible event dates: August to December 2026 

Reporting Requirements 

Successful applicants will be required to submit a final report following their event. This includes a post-event evaluation, photographs, attendance statistics, testimonials, and a final budget. Selected projects are also required to acknowledge the support of Daniels Spectrum in printed materials, promotions, and on-stage announcements.
