The Black Youth Excellence Awards 2026
A Youth Led Celebration of Black Culture at Daniels Spectrum

This Black History Month, Daniels Spectrum is opening our doors for The Black Youth Excellence Awards 2026, a youth led celebration rooted in community, creativity, and culture.
Created by young people from Regent Park, this free event highlights the voices, talents, and stories of Black youth who are shaping the future right here in our city. Experience powerful performances, art, and music that bring people together to honour the past, celebrate the present, and imagine what comes next.
Black History Month is not only about reflection. It is about connection, joy, and creating space for new voices to shine. We invite community members, families, artists, and allies to come together, support local youth, and celebrate Black excellence with us!
