We’re thrilled to share some exciting news— Visions of Science has officially joined the Daniels Spectrum community! If you haven’t had the chance to meet them yet, Visions of Science is a game-changing organization working to empower youth from low-income and racialized communities through equitable access to STEM—Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Who is Visions of Science? Visions of Science is a charitable organization on a mission to transform communities, society, and the planet through STEM by making it accessible, engaging, and community-driven. Their short and long-term free programs include hands-on STEM workshops, summer camps, mentorship opportunities, and school-based modules designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and open pathways to future careers in STEM. They’ve been making an impact across the GTA for years, and with their headquarters just across the street, it was only natural to bring a dedicated STEM Hub even closer to the community right here in Regent Park. What will they offer at Daniels Spectrum? With their new STEM hub at Daniels Spectrum, Visions of Science will be hosting: STEM programs and workshops right in the building Community events like science pop-ups, interactive experiments, and fairs Mentorship and leadership programs focused on supporting local youth Collaborative initiatives to make STEM more accessible and inspiring for everyone …and much more! Want to connect with them? Whether you’re a curious young person, a parent, or a community member interested in STEM, here’s how you can get involved or learn more: Website : www.vosnl.org Instagram: instagram.com/visionsofscience Email : connect@vosnl.org Phone : 416-366-4774 Keep an eye out for exciting events and programs coming to Daniels Spectrum.
