We’re excited to announce that Daniels Spectrum has been selected as a Major Institution for Nuit Blanche 2025 ! On Saturday, October 4, 2025 , our building will transform into an all-night hub of art, creativity, and connection as part of Toronto’s biggest contemporary art festival. Running from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM , Nuit Blanche invites the city to experience art in unexpected ways, and this year’s theme, “Translating the City” , sets the stage for unforgettable experiences. Our featured exhibition: A Place We Call Home The exhibition invites attendees to explore identity, empathy and shared memory through immersive sound, sculpture and community art in this powerful, interactive journey rooted in the heart of Regent Park. About the Project Rooted in the heart of Regent Park, “A Place We Call Home” explores what it means to share space, stories, and healing within a community often overlooked. Through immersive, interactive art, visitors are invited to reflect on how we see ourselves and those around us. What shifts when we step into each other’s footsteps? Do we listen to understand, or to respond? This project asks deep questions about empathy, sincerity and collective growth. Inside Daniels Spectrum, audiences will move through large-scale community paintings, a 360° audio tunnel and a striking, freestanding sculpture made of repeating hexagonal and pentagonal shapes. Each element invites participation, whether by triggering soundscapes, sharing stories or adding to collaborative paintings. Created with local artists and nonprofits, “A Place We Call Home” offers a dynamic space for connection, reflection and reimagining how we live together. Participating Artists “A Place We Call Home” is brough to life by a collective of extraordinary artists and community partners: Morgan-Paige Melbourne Benny Bing Melissa Falconer Komi Olaf Madhu Kumar Community Music Schools of Toronto Through paint, sound, sculpture, and song, their practices converge to tell a story much larger than any one voice. Together, they reflect the creativity, diversity, and resilience that define Regent Park. Daniels Spectrum won’t be the only ArtHubs location participating in Nuit Blanche 2025. Be sure to also check out installations and activations at our sister locations, Youngplace and Wychwood Barns. We invite the Regent Park community and all Torontonians to spend the night with us, exploring, connecting, and celebrating creativity. Whether you’re a longtime resident, a first-time visitor, or a Nuit Blanche regular, Daniels Spectrum will be the place to experience art that inspires and brings people together. Save the date: Saturday , October 4, 2025 Location: Daniels Spectrum, 585 Dundas St. East Time: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
